Crafted from natural recycled materials, Womsh’s vegan shoes are not only environmentally-friendly and waterproof but also lock warmth in while ensuring high levels of breathability. All thanks to AppleSkin: an innovative leather-like material obtained from apple processing waste. It is environmentally-friendly, non-toxic, biocompatible and produced by an Italian company called Frumat Leather. A responsible choice which won it the “Technology and Innovation” prize at the Green Carpet Fashion Awards in 2018.

This completely animal-free alternative has allowed us to reduce our CO₂ emissions as well as our water consumption without releasing new waste into the environment.

My daughter Francesca told me one day that she couldn’t wear my sneakers because they were made from leather. That was the exact moment that sparked my range of vegan shoes made from apples.
