PACKAGING

Tell the corncob that corn is fashionable

We have spent a long time looking for the best materials from the point of view of quality and respect for the environment.

The boxes used for packaging Womsh sneakers are made of 100% recycled cardboard and lined with paper made from corn processing waste. We chose Favini as a partner in this green adventure because it shares the same focus on respect for the environment and the circular economy as Womsh. Favini provides us with Crush, a special type of paper for lining and for printing boxes, promotional tags and advertising materials.

We have chosen corn as a natural raw material but Favini also uses citrus fruits, grapes, cherries, lavender, olives, coffee,
kiwi fruit, hazelnuts and almonds to produce its unique types of paper.
The company exclusively uses certified sustainable raw materials from responsibly managed forests. Crush:

· is FSC certified, thus guaranteeing the use of raw materials from forests
where strict environmental, social and economic standards are respected;

· is made using EKOenergia, a 100% green and renewable source of energy (electricity and gas),
which meets stringent environmental sustainability criteria
and finances development projects that seek to combat energy poverty;

· is GMO-free, i.e. without any genetically modified organisms; without plants,
micro-organisms or animals in which part of the genetic make-up has been modified
by genetic engineering techniques.

Our gift bags are made of recycled cotton, a sustainable choice
because it has a lower impact on the soil than cultivated cotton.
We have chosen textile companies that produce fabrics without aggressively exploiting raw materials.
