Since 2014, thanks to its collaboration with LifeGate - a benchmark for sustainable development in Italy – Womsh has been taking part in Zero Impact®, a project aimed at compensating for CO2 emissions released into the atmosphere as a result of any activity, product or service.

It compensates for residual CO2 by creating and protecting, in the long term, new-growth forests in specific geographical areas in Italy and the world, in countries including Costa Rica, Madagascar, Bolivia and Panama.

In 5 years, at Womsh we have helped to create and protect more than 11.000 square metres of forests, per year on average,in Madagascar and in Italy.

Moreover, Womsh takes part in “Foreste in Piedi”, a LifeGate, Icei and Avive project
aimed at protecting the Amazon forests in Brazil.
LifeGate protects 560 hectares of Amazon forests, a green area
that Brazil has granted for use by 27 families in the San Pedro community,
with the aim of preventing and combatting deforestation,
arson, illegal hunting and other environmental crimes.
